Texas: Call your state senator to support improving medical cannabis access

Thank you for standing up for compassionate cannabis policies! After you type in your contact info, check out our sample script and talking points for ideas.

Here are some tips for your call:

1. Be respectful. How you speak to legislators and staff is as important as what you say.
2. Be succinct. Please be respectful of staffers’ time by getting right to the point.
3. Be clear. Make sure they know why you’re calling and what you want them to do.
4. Stay on point. If you’re calling about HB 1535, please only discuss improving the medical cannabis program, not broader cannabis policy reforms.
