Do you support making it legal for adults 21 and older to discreetly and securely cultivate a personal-use amount of marijuana in Pennsylvania?
Yes
In addition to agreeing with all three questions, Ms. Siegel offered these comments, "Many people have been helped by medicinal cannabis. It is senseless that people are being arrested and imprisoned for using the same substance. I support legalization of marijuana and the expungement of past convictions. Legalization efforts, in other states, has spurred economic and small business growth. According to a 2019 Reuter’s article, legalization of recreational marijuana was associated with an 8% decline in teens reporting experimenting with cannabis and a 9% reduction in frequent use." "I support legalization and taxation of marijuana, which could greatly reduce our state budget shortfalls and fund programs in education and infrastructure." and "Yes, I believe that home cultivation of a small number of plants should be allowed. There are many marijuana patients who are struggling right now to obtain the strain of cannabis that helps them. Home cultivate could aid substantially in easing this shortage."

In response to the first survey question, commented, "It long past due, it should have never been categorized as a schedule 1 drug. Medical marijuana saved my life, I am a victim of childhood sexual abuse and suffer from PTSD. I tried to self medicate myself in the past to no avail. Medical marijuana has allowed me to be able to sleep at night, figuratively and literally. We need marijuana legalization to help end discriminatory prison sentences. We need to move forward with a 21st century mindset, not that of the 1920's and Reefer Madness. On the second question, commented, "Covid-19 has thrown the economy into upheaval, we need new streams of revenue. Legalization can help farmers, tourism, manufacturers and throw less people in jail." On the final question, said, Yes up to specific minimal amount that would guarantee personal use."
