Join MPP's Bruce Mirken for a free drug policy discussion in Laramie

Message:

Dear Friend:

On Wednesday, March 24, I will be speaking at the University of Wyoming, in Laramie, as part of a free public forum presented by the Laramie Progressive Action Collective. The event, "Working Towards Sensible Drug Policy: The Rational Case for Ending the War on Drugs," will feature speakers from three national drug policy reform groups, including MPP. My talk will focus on how marijuana is covered in the news media, why so much government propaganda gets repeated uncritically by the press, and the obstacles we face in trying to get marijuana issues reported fairly and accurately.

The event will run from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the West Yellowstone Ballroom in the Wyoming Union building on the University of Wyoming campus in Laramie. More information and directions are available at http://www.uwyo.edu/LPAC/index.htm.

I'm looking forward to a lively and informative discussion, and I hope you can join us.

Sincerely,

Bruce Mirken
