Come on, America. Marijuana prohibition has failed. It was 1937 when that law was passed. And where are we today?
I say it's time for a new approach. We need a sensible system of regulation. A recent pollster reported that 40% of Americans support legalizing marijuana, while 46% oppose it and 14% are not sure.
Like it or not, marijuana is a massive industry. More than a 100 million people admit they've used it at least once.
Marijuana prohibition hasn't stopped marijuana use. What we did was hand over the monopoly of production and distribution to criminals, including those brutal gangs in Mexico.
I say legalize it.
