State Representatives Frank Boyle (D-Superior) and Mark Pocan (D-Madison) held a press conference yesterday to announce that they have drafted a bill to give Wisconsin patients legal access to medical marijuana.
The bill (LRB-2442/1) will be introduced in early January.
The press conference received substantial media coverage, which you can view at MPP's Wisconsin Web site. Boyle and Pocan hope this exposure will attract additional co-sponsors to the bill, increasing its momentum for the upcoming year.
Please send a letter to your state legislators, asking them to co-sponsor LRB-2442/1. Six pre-written letters are provided for your convenience, or you can write your own message of support for the bill.
The bill will be introduced within the next 30 days, so it is important to contact your legislators as soon as possible.
