Title:
New video features West Virginia doctor and patient -- contact legislators today!
Message:
For the third consecutive year, Del. Mike Manypenny has submitted a bill in West Virginia that would protect seriously ill patients if their doctors recommend medical marijuana. This year’s bill, H.B. 2230, has already generated positive media coverage, including this article in the Charleston Gazette, and advocates are working hard to convince legislators they should join Del. Manypenny and fight for patients’ rights.
Please contact your legislators and ask them to support this sensible, compassionate bill.
To help educate the legislature and stimulate discussion about the bill, our allies at Yeager Media Group in Charleston produced this short video featuring Dr. Paul Clancy, retired police lieutenant James Nolan, and Ken Robidoux, a college professor with a compelling story about his experiences using medical marijuana to treat his epilepsy. Please take a few minutes to watch the video and share it with your friends!
To keep the discussion going, it’s very important that supporters of H.B. 2230 write effective letters to their legislators and publish letters in local newspapers. If you’d like some assistance with writing and sending an effective letter, click here.
