Two very important deadlines regarding voter registration are approaching: Saturday, October 6 is the last day to register to vote by mail (PDF), and Monday, October 8 is the last day to register to vote online. But why procrastinate? Register to vote – or verify your current registration – TODAY! For those of you who have never before registered to vote in Washington, you can also do so in-person at your county elections office up until October 29.
As you’re probably aware, you will not only help decide who will be president of our country, but you have a unique and enviable opportunity to decide if Washington should continue its failed and costly state marijuana prohibition or whether it would be better to try a new approach. However, you will not get to vote unless you are properly registered to do so.
The Office of the Washington Secretary of State makes registering a breeze. Don’t run the risk of not being able to vote by putting off what can easily be accomplished today. Make sure you're properly registered.
