Windsor County Democrats Ask Governor to Lift Order

Windsor County Democrats are asking to Governor to lift his order sending drug cases to the state Attorney General. It's the latest twist in the debate over a part-time family court judge who police say had more than 2 pounds of marijuana in her home. Windsor County prosecutor Bob Sand dropped felony charges against Martha Davis and offered her court diversion. The Governor ordered police to send all drug cases to the state because he believes Davis should have been charged.

The Windsor County lawmakers say the Governor's order does not recognize the importance of the court diversion program.
