Vermont legalizes medical marijuana dispensaries
Vermont Governor Peter Shumlin, who MPP helped elect, signs a medical marijuana dispensaries bill into law following a two-year lobbying campaign led by MPP.

marijuana, but several patients told legislators that they were unable
to do so due to the high cost of equipment or because their medical
condition made the task too physically demanding," according to Dan
