Great news! The bill we told you about yesterday, S. 17,
was given preliminary approval by the Vermont House of Representatives.
There is still one more vote to go in the House, then a procedural vote in the
Senate, so we’re not done yet.

If passed, S.17 would allow up to four tightly regulated
medical marijuana dispensaries to provide marijuana to registered patients in
Vermont. It’s an important bill because patients who aren’t able to grow their
own marijuana deserve to have access to doctor-recommended medicine.
