Title:

Deadline to introduce bills in Utah is fast approaching

Message:

The deadline for Utah legislators to request bills for the 2002 session is January 31, just eight days away.

Thank you to everyone who has used MPP's Utah Web site to contact their state representatives and senators, encouraging them to sponsor medical marijuana legislation this year.

Direct communication with your legislators is the greatest way to influence their preferences and priorities during the session.

If you have not already e-mailed your legislators, please do so today.

It only takes a few minutes to select and submit a letter that could be the decisive message that leads to the introduction of a medical marijuana bill.

Also, be sure to forward this alert to others in Utah who might be interested in voicing their support for medical marijuana. The more e-mails legislators receive on this topic, the more likely they will sponsor appropriate legislation.

As always, thank you for your help in the effort to protect patients in the state who need to use medical marijuana.
