It looks like South Dakotans will have the chance to make South Dakota the 12th medical marijuana state this November … Today, South Dakota activists handed about 24,000 signatures to put medical marijuana on the November ballot. Only 16,728 valid signatures were needed. Although the secretary of state may not certify the petition for the November ballot for months, the petition should easily qualify for the ballot.
