It's finally here — Election Day!
It is your time to stand up for patients who need to use
medical marijuana in South Dakota. Are you going to help them or leave them to
fend for themselves?
Tomorrow (Tuesday,
November 2), voters from Vermillion to Buffalo, from Sisseton to Edgemont,
and everywhere in between, will head to the polls and exercise their right to
vote. We need you to get out and vote
“Yes” on Measure 13!
If passed, Measure 13 will protect seriously ill residents
of the Mount Rushmore State from arrest and prosecution for using medical
marijuana as recommended by their physician. With 14 states and the District of
Columbia already recognizing the medicinal value of marijuana, it’s about time
South Dakota shares this compassionate view.
Before you get out
and vote “Yes” on Measure 13 tomorrow, please make sure your friends and
family will be voting for Measure 13, too! Post something encouraging about
Measure 13 on Facebook or Twitter. Forward this email. Or just
make some old fashioned phone calls. Whatever it takes to get people you know to
vote “Yes.”
