Title:

Act now! Pennsylvania medical marijuana bill will be introduced soon

Message:

Later this week, Rep. Mark Cohen (D-Philadelphia) will introduce a bill to protect seriously ill patients from arrest for using medical marijuana with the recommendations of their doctors. Rep. Cohen is currently asking his colleagues in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to sign on to the bill as co-sponsors.

Please contact your state representatives now and urge them to co-sponsor Rep. Cohen's medical marijuana legislation this year.

The more representatives co-sponsoring the bill when it's introduced the better chance it has to pass.

If you are a medical professional, a patient who might benefit from medical marijuana, or if you know somebody who might benefit from medical marijuana we would like to hear from you. Additionally, if you are a law enforcement official, a clergy member, or a member of the legal community please e-mail state@mpp.org to see how you can be of special help.

Please take action now and help protect Pennsylvania's suffering and dying patients. Then please forward this alert to your friends, family, and neighbors in Pennsylvania so they can contact their representatives as well.

Thank you for supporting MPP and our allies in Pennsylvania.
