Clinics like pharmacies are the right approach: YES on 74!

Message:

Election Day is less than a week away! Have you returned your ballot yet?

By passing the Oregon Medical Marijuana Act nearly 12 years ago, Oregonians overwhelmingly agreed that marijuana is a medicine. Unfortunately, many patients who qualify under the law still have difficulty obtaining the medication they need.

Measure 74 will be a big improvement for patients in Oregon. Retired Oregon pharmacist, Michael James Long, believes marijuana is medicine and should be regulated like one. Long has said, "The clinics created by Measure 74 will operate like pharmacies, a big contrast to how patients must get medical marijuana today.”

Please don’t delay. Vote YES on 74 and get those ballots in! If you are a registered voter and have not yet received your ballot, contact your county elections office immediately.

Once your ballot is complete, you have the option of mailing it in or returning it to any county elections office or any designated drop site in the state. Remember, the completed ballot must be received in any county elections office or designated drop site by 8pm on election night. Postmarks do not count! If you have any questions, please visit the Oregon Secretary of State website or call your county elections office.

Please encourage other Oregonians to vote YES on 74. Share this with your friends and family or post a message to your social networking sites. Also, if you can donate any amount to the Measure 74 campaign, please visit the campaign website today! These funds are necessary to foster more support for this important measure.

The time is now to vote YES on 74! Thanks for your support.
