You can be an official sponsor of a medical marijuana initiative!

We have exciting news for you! MPP is currently in the planning stages
for a medical marijuana ballot initiative in the state of North Dakota.
Our goal is see this initiative appear on the November 2012 ballot.
If
enacted, this initiative would ensure that seriously ill patients would
be able to use marijuana to alleviate their suffering without the
threat of arrest. It would improve the lives of thousands of North
Dakotans, and we hope we can help support it through passage.
But
we cannot do this alone — literally. The state of North Dakota requires
a proposed initiative to have 25 residents as official "sponsors."
These sponsors do not have any specific campaign responsibilities, but
they will be publicly expressing their support for the initiative.

While the invitation is open to all comers, we are especially
interested in potential medical marijuana patients, family members of
patients, doctors, members of the clergy, and other community leaders.
Sending us a very brief personal bio will help facilitate the process.
