Letter: War on Drugs Puts Police in Danger From Dealers

In response to "F.B.I.: Officer may have failed to report money from drug bust" ( June 20 ):
The war on drugs is putting a huge burden on police. Dealers protecting their business constantly put officers in danger.
Some officers understand prohibition never works and want to see an end to this absurd war.
Others are profiting from the war and wish to continue it no matter whom it victimizes. |
