N.C.: Show your support for medical marijuana on June 7!

As you may recall, Rep. Kelly Alexander (D – Mecklenburg) introduced legislation earlier this year that would establish a safe and legal medical marijuana program in North Carolina. Unfortunately, H 577 has yet to be scheduled for a hearing, despite the strong popular support for medical marijuana. In order to raise awareness of his bill, Rep. Alexander will be holding a medical marijuana event in the legislative auditorium in one week. This event is open to the public and we encourage you to attend. Also, please email your representative and ask him or her to support H 577.

Where: The North Carolina Legislative Building Auditorium

When: Tuesday, June 7 at 10:00 a.m.

Please remember that this event will take place in the legislative building. Please respect the decorum of the legislative process, and your elected officials, and dress professionally. And remember to contact your representative and let him or her know that his or her constituents support medical marijuana.
