"I am a 100% disabled veteran and former drug counselor. Even with medication, I am in constant pain. At one time, I tried marijuana to treat my pain. I know it provides relief, with a fraction of the side effects and without the serious risk of addiction. But, marijuana is currently not allowed in our state, and I will not use it again until it is legal in New York. Please bring state law in line with science and compassion."
