"I am battling cancer and living with fibromyalgia and have found that medical marijuana provides relief. My late husband endured horrific suffering in his final months before cancer took his life. I have no doubt that he would have had more comfort if he had tried marijuana. Treating pain is not something patients should have to hide like a dirty secret. Criminalizing very ill people who are reliving their suffering with a safe and effective medicine is the disgrace. It is time to allow medical marijuana."
