Title:
NYC Council calls on state to legalize medical marijuana
Message:
The New York
City Council sent a strong message to
Albany Wednesday when it overwhelmingly approved a
resolution calling for the state to legalize marijuana for medical purposes.
The Council passed Resolution 94-A by a whopping 44-3 margin (with one member
abstaining from the vote).
Please add your voice to the
New York City Council’s and urge state lawmakers to pass an effective medical
marijuana law.
Sixteen states, plus
the District of Columbia, allow medical marijuana with a doctor’s
recommendation. Shouldn’t New York be one of the next states to demonstrate
compassion for seriously ill patients? Please take action today!
