Title:
Award-winning medical marijuana documentary to play at New York City festival
Message:
The Marijuana Policy Project invites you to attend a screening of Waiting to Inhale, a feature-length documentary that provides a compelling and detailed look at medical marijuana. Waiting to Inhale will be screened in New York City on Sunday, October 30, at 2:50 p.m. at the Eureka! International Film Festival. A panel discussion with director Jed Riffe will follow.
Funded in part by a grant from MPP, Waiting to Inhale features experts on both sides of the medical marijuana issue and intimate stories from critically ill patients seeking relief from their pain.
Waiting to Inhale has already played to critical acclaim, having won the 2005 CINE Golden Eagle Award, the Gold Special Jury Remi Award at the 38th Annual WorldFest-Houston, and the 2005 Best Documentary Film/Video at the New Jersey International Film Festival. Please visit www.waitingtoinhale.org for more information.
The film will be screened at the Anthology Film Archives at 32 Second Avenue and Second Street in New York City. Tickets can be purchased for $10 by visiting www.eurekaiff.com or by calling the film festival at 212-714-4617.
