500 registered voters were interviewed September 1-3, 2009 by Mason-Dixon Polling & Research, Inc. of Washington, D.C. Margin for error is plus or minus 4.5%.

QUESTION: The New York State Legislature is currently considering a bill that would allow seriously and terminally ill patients to register with the state to use marijuana for medical purposes if they have their doctors' approval. The registered patients would be allowed to obtain the medical marijuana from organizations licensed and regulated by the state department of health. Do you support this bill?
