New Mexico Legislature votes on medical marijuana bill this week; urge your legislator to support patients of New Mexico

The New Mexico Senate is expected to hold a floor vote on the Lynn Pierson Compassionate Use Act (S.B. 258) this week, and seriously ill residents in New Mexico need you to act now to help pass this legislation. Passing this law through the Senate would protect medical marijuana patients in New Mexico from arrest, but it needs your help to pass.

The act allows qualified patients suffering from certain serious illnesses such as cancer, HIV/AIDS, and epilepsy to use marijuana with recommendations from their doctors.
