Title:

First New Jersey dispensary cleared for opening!

Message:

It has been a long time coming, but Greenleaf Compassion Center in Montclair has received its final green light from the state and may begin serving registered patients as soon as it is ready to do so. New Jersey Health Commissioner Mary O’Dowd announced Monday that Greenleaf’s license had been approved, and that the department will begin sending ID cards to patients who have registered to obtain medical marijuana from Greenleaf.

Unfortunately, of the other five alternative treatment centers that received preliminary approval from the state, only two have found locations, and they are not yet close to receiving final approval or serving patients.

For more information on how to register for New Jersey’s medical marijuana program, visit the Department of Health’s website here.
