Thank your senator for voting in favor of medical marijuana bill
On April 29, the New Hampshire Senate voted 14-10 in favor of HB 648. This bill would protect seriously ill patients from arrest for using doctor-recommended medical marijuana.
Please take a moment now to thank your senator if he or she voted in favor of the bill. Once you type in your address, our system will automatically determine if your senator voted compassionately or not. It won't allow you to send the "thank you" e-mail if your senator voted against the bill.
Gov. John Lynch (D) has expressed strong concerns about the bill. It is being revised in a conference committee to try to address the governor's concerns and avoid a possible veto. After thanking your senators, please call Gov. Lynch's office and urge him to allow the medical marijuana bill to become law.
If you have already contacted the governor's office in support of the bill, please make sure that all of your friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers do so, too.
Many suffering patients are counting on Gov. Lynch to do the right thing and let HB 648 become law. Please help them by contacting Gov. Lynch now and by urging everyone you know in New Hampshire to do so. It is crucial that he hear that constituents do not want him to stand in the way of protecting patients from arrest. |
