N.H.: SB 409 passes House (again), moves back to Senate!

SB 409 took another step forward today as the House voted 228-91 to approve the bill as amended by the House Finance Committee. It will now head back over to the Senate.
Since different versions of the bill have now been passed by the House and Senate, the Senate is likely to request what’s called a “committee of conference” to iron out the differences and agree on a final version that will be sent to Gov. Lynch’s desk.
However, if the police chiefs’ association gets its way, the Senate will simply vote to kill the bill. Please check the Senate’s last roll call vote and contact your senator today, even if you’ve already done so.
