Medical marijuana is making headlines in N.H. papers!

This week several newspapers in New Hampshire printed articles on medical marijuana and HB 648. On Tuesday, the Concord Monitor featured an article on HB 648 on the front page. And on Wednesday, the Nashua Telegraph printed an article about New Hampshire patients who could benefit from medical marijuana and another article about the various marijuana policy reform bills the legislature is considering this year. You can read additional New Hampshire news on marijuana policy here.

Now is the time to keep the public discussion on medical marijuana going. Please take a moment to send a letter to the editor in support of medical marijuana and HB 648. We have provided some talking points to get you started. But if you would like help writing a letter to the editor, please e-mail me at Zane@mpp.org.

We expect the first committee hearing on the bill to be scheduled soon. Legislators often look to the opinion pages of the state papers to see what New Hampshire residents are discussing. It would be a big help if the legislators could see the widespread support that exists for HB 648 before the hearing. Please write a letter to the editor now.

Please pass this message on to your friends, family, and neighbors in New Hampshire so they can show their support for New Hampshire's medical marijuana patients as well.
