Full N.H. Senate voting on medical marijuana on Wednesday!

Published: May 9, 2011

Ask your senator to stand up for compassion.

Amazing news! On Wednesday, H.B. 442 will receive a vote before the New Hampshire Senate. The House of Representatives has already overwhelmingly passed this sensible bill, which was approved last Thursday by the Senate Health and Human Services Committee. Please do everything you can to make sure the bill is sent to Gov. John Lynch’s desk.

Please take a few minutes to call your senator and urge him or her to vote for H.B. 442! You may have already made a call or sent an email. Do it again. In New Hampshire, constituents have unique access to their elected representatives — this is the time to use it. Please email your senator as well, and ask your friends and family to follow suit. Then, email state@mpp.org if you’re a patient or medical professional to see how you can be of special help.

In addition to the legislative leadership of Reps. Evalyn Merrick and Phil Greazzo, the bill would not have advanced this far without the stellar work of Kirk McNeil and NH Compassion and all of your calls, emails, testimony, and legislator meetings.

Thank you for your time; let’s make this happen together!
