“CloseUp” debate airs Sunday, and federal patient Irvin Rosenfeld visits Tuesday!

Message:

As you probably know, the police chiefs’ association has been the most vociferous opponent of SB 409. Their spokesman, Chief Richard Crate of Enfield PD, recently said “it’s a bad bill, and the only way to make it better is to take marijuana out of it.”

Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m., on the WMUR show “CloseUp,” Chief Crate will face off with SB 409 sponsor Sen. Jim Forsythe (R-Strafford) in what is sure to be “must-see TV.” Please watch and encourage your friends and family to do the same!

In other exciting news, federal medical marijuana patient Irvin Rosenfeld will be visiting Concord Tuesday (May 8) for a 9:30 a.m. press conference and meetings with elected officials.

Rosenfeld, 59, has suffered since childhood from a rare bone disorder known as Multiple Congenital Cartilaginous Exostosis. He recently published a book called My Medicine: How I Convinced the U.S. Government to Provide my Marijuana and Helped Launch a National Movement.

All patients and supporters of SB 409 are welcome to attend and observe the press conference, which will take place in the lobby of the Legislative Office Building (behind the State House) in Concord. Professional attire and demeanor are requested.
