Marijuana Advocate Arrested Again for Drug Possession
One of the valley's most outspoken marijuana advocates is once again under arrest on drug charges.
We've bbeen following Pierre Werner's campaign for years; he's been pushing for the legalization of medical marijuana in Nevada, he even smoked pot on camera during our interviews.
News 3 sources say officers raided a home he was renting in Rhodes Ranch where they found 96 marijuana plants. This is Werner's third arrest in three years.
Werner says he is licensed by the State of Nevada to use marijuana for treatment of his mental illness, but police say what they found goes way beyond any legitimate medical use.
