Title:

Nev. dispensary regulatory bill advances to full Senate

Message:

The Senate Finance Committee voted to pass SB 374 to the Senate floor last Thursday. The bill, sponsored by Sen. Tick Segerblom, would dramatically improve patients’ access to medical marijuana by allowing medical marijuana dispensaries in the state.

Please take a moment to encourage your senator to vote in favor of SB 374.

Two-thirds of the legislature must approve the bill because it imposes fees on dispensary applicants, so it’s vital your senator hears from you.

Voters enacted a constitutional amendment allowing medical marijuana in 2000, but the legislature’s law to implement the amendment failed to allow patients to buy their medicine. District Court Judge Mosley found this omission unconstitutional and “ridiculous.”

Please ask your senator to vote yes on SB 374, to finally implement the will of voters. Then, pass this email message to friends, family, and supporters.
