Gather signatures for marijuana initiative on Election Day
Want to help land the marijuana initiative on the 2006 ballot and make up to $100—or more—in just one day?
On Election Day, petitioners from the Committee to Regulate and Control Marijuana (CRCM) will be gathering signatures from people who are exiting polling places, all of whom are registered voters. And because CRCM is paying between $1.50 and $1.75 for every signature collected from a registered Nevada voter, this is an easy way to make some money while helping to push marijuana policy reform.
CRCM will be hitting polling places in Reno and Las Vegas. If you would like to petition in Reno, please call Jeff Dayton at (815) 370-0776. If you would like to petition in Las Vegas, please call Tyler Whitmire at (702) 233-2233.
We need to make sure we qualify this initiative by a wide enough margin to make it impossible for Nevada election officials to knock us off of the ballot again. That's where you come in. Even if you're booked up on Election Day, please make sure to pass this on to your friends so that they can help out with the campaign effort.
Also, if you're available to petition at other times, note that CRCM is generally hiring people to petition through November 8.
