Title:
To protect patients, vote “NO” on IR-124
Message:
Montana’s medical marijuana law has been under attack for the last two years. Fortunately, voters will have an opportunity Tuesday to reject the legislature’s heartless “repeal in disguise” and restore Montana’s medical marijuana law.
Voters can protect the rights of patients by voting “NO” on IR-124. If, however, IR-124 passes, the legislature’s “repeal in disguise” will be upheld, and patients’ rights will again be placed in serious jeopardy.
Additionally, voters should know that the debate over IR-124 has also become a factor in the race to become Montana’s next governor. The candidates are Democratic Attorney General Steve Bullock and Republican Congressman Rick Hill; Bullock has said he opposes the assault on patients’ rights and will vote against IR-124, while Hill says he will vote in favor of IR-124 and against the rights of patients.
