Title:

Mississippi Senate will consider medical marijuana; take action today!

Message:

As marijuana policy reforms advance nationwide, Sen. Deborah Dawkins (D-Pass Christian) has vowed to keep fighting for medical marijuana legislation. Sen. Dawkins has once again introduced a bill, SB 2369, that would allow medical marijuana for seriously ill patients. The bill has been referred to the Senate Judiciary Committee, Division A.

Please click here to send a message to your representatives in Jackson. Tell them 18 states plus the District of Columbia have taken action to protect the seriously ill, and there’s no reason Mississippi shouldn’t be next!

Also, if you or a loved one suffer from a debilitating illness and could benefit from marijuana, or if you’re a medical professional, a law enforcement official, a clergy member, or a member of the legal community, please email state@mpp.org to see how you can be of special help. Please include your address or nine-digit ZIP code.

Let’s give Sen. Dawkins the support her bill deserves. Again, please take action and share this alert with your friends!
