URGENT: Governor Pawlenty thinks the dying should be arrested for following their doctor's advice

In a stunning turn of events, Governor Pawlenty has immediately announced that he intends to veto the medical marijuana bill. The fact that this bill is limited to terminally ill patients and sunsets in two years apparently has had no impact on the governor. He is going to exercise his power to make sure dying patients, and their family and friends, continue to face arrest and jail for simply trying to alleviate their pain.

This is your last chance to tell the governor not to do something so cruel and heartless. Please e-mail Gov. Pawlenty right now and strongly urge him not to veto this legislation.

Read what the governor said here.

After you have sent him an e-mail, please consider calling his office toll-free at (800) 657-3717. Please let him know that as a constituent, you support protecting dying Minnesotan's from arrest, and ask him not to veto this bill. Also, please pass this alert on to everyone you know who lives in Minnesota.

Thank you for all you have done for Minnesota's sick and dying patients.
