Title:

Minn.: Urge your lawmakers to join the majority by supporting medical marijuana

Message:

65% of Minnesotans support medical marijuana; ask your legislators to do so as well!

A new poll paid for by the Marijuana Policy Project and conducted by Public Policy Polling finds that nearly two-thirds of Minnesotans support allowing medical marijuana. This support was found as a bipartisan group of Minnesota lawmakers prepare a bill that would make it legal for Minnesota residents with debilitating medical conditions, such as cancer, multiple sclerosis, and HIV/AIDS, to access and use medical marijuana if advised to do so by their physicians. Introduction is expected within the next two weeks, but it is never too early to email your state representative and senator to ask for their support!

Minnesotans across the state realize that criminalizing the seriously ill for using marijuana per their doctors’ recommendations is foolish and cruel. Help us protect patients by urging your lawmakers to support medical marijuana legislation!

Legislators need to understand that they side with the public when they support patients. With such strong support, it wouldn’t be surprising if your family and friends support compassionate legislation as well, so please ask them to write their lawmakers too!
