Title:
Minn.: Patients, volunteers needed to pass medical marijuana bill
Message:
Ask Gov. Mark Dayton to support medical marijuana!
Fall’s arrived, kids are back in school, and routines are, once again, starting to take shape. On the heels of another successful state fair, lawmakers across the state are gearing up for the second half of the 2013–2014 legislative session. While there is a lot to be done between now and May, we’re hopeful that – with the support of Minnesotans across the state – the North Star State will become the 21st (plus D.C.) to enact a compassionate medical marijuana law.
Contact us today if you are interested in getting involved. We particularly want to hear from supportive clergy, patients, loved ones of patients, law enforcement, and medical professionals.
MPP has been working in concert with Minnesotans for Compassionate Care to see that seriously ill Minnesotans are finally protected from criminal penalties for using medical marijuana under doctors' orders. If you’re interested in helping, please don’t be shy about reaching out to us. Volunteer opportunities are as simple as writing a letter or as ambitious as canvassing your neighborhood.
