Title:
Medical marijuana movie night at Fitchburg State College!
Message:
The Massachusetts Patient Advocacy Alliance, in conjunction with Students for Sensible Drug Policy, is hosting a screening of Waiting to Inhale on April 13th at 7:00 p.m. This screening will take place at the Condike Science Lecture Hall, room 202, located on North Street between Ross Street and Pearl Street in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion featuring a local medical marijuana patient and a representative from MPAA; discussion will address the experience of patients in Massachusetts and the current status of the medical marijuana movement.
Waiting to Inhale, a critically acclaimed documentary, examines the debate over marijuana and it’s use as medicine in the United States. Throughout this open and honest documentary, audiences explore the scientific efficacy of medical marijuana as well as arguments that marijuana is a “gateway.” Along the way, Waiting to Inhale introduces its audience to patients whose lives are changed for the better by their use of medical marijuana.
A big thanks goes out Matt Allen with the Massachusetts Patient Advocacy Alliance for orchestrating this wonderful opportunity. If you are in the Fitchburg area on Tuesday, April 13, don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to be both entertained and educated. Bring a friend or two so they too are able to enjoy this rare opportunity.
Thank you so much, and enjoy the show!
