Title:
Mass.: Deadline for comments extended; Boston hearing rescheduled
Message:
As you have probably seen, residents of Boston, Watertown, Waltham, Newton, Belmont, Cambridge, Allston/Brighton, and Brookline were asked to “shelter in place” today. As a result of the unprecedented events, the Massachusetts Department of Public Health rescheduled today’s hearing in Boston on draft medical marijuana regulations.
The hearing is now scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 22 at the same location:
Massachusetts Department of Public Health
Public Health Council Room
250 Washington St., 2nd floor
Boston, MA 02108
The department also extended the deadline for written testimony to Monday, April 22 at 5:00 p.m. For those wishing to comment, written testimony may be submitted to Reg.Testimony@state.ma.us as a Word document or in the text of an email with “Medical Marijuana” in the subject line. It must include the sender’s full name and address, and it will be posted on the department’s website. We’ve listed some of the key sections we recommend changing here, and our draft comments are posted here.
Have a safe and peaceful weekend; you're in our thoughts.
