Please ask your delegates to co-sponsor Del. Morhaim's medical marijuana bill

We are closer than ever to making medical marijuana a reality in Maryland, but we need your help to win!

On Monday, February 3, Sen. Paula Hollinger (D-Baltimore) filed the Darrell Putman Medical Marijuana Research Act, with a record 19 co-sponsors. The bill would protect medical marijuana patients and their caregivers from arrest. Additionally, by requiring doctors and patients to report results to the Board of Physician Quality Assurance, this innovative bill would provide further scientific evidence that medical marijuana is safe and effective.

Del. Dan Morhaim (D-Baltimore) is almost ready to introduce the Darrell Putman Medical Marijuana Research Act in the House of Delegates, but first he needs your help.

Please ask your delegates to co-sponsor Del. Morhaim's bill.

The Darrell Putman Medical Marijuana Research Act has strong bipartisan support in the Senate. Gov. Robert Ehrlich (R) recently said that he would likely sign a medical marijuana bill. If we can achieve success in the House of Delegates, Maryland would become a shining example of a working medical marijuana law and could pave the way for the rest of the country to follow. Please ask your delegates to co-sponsor today.

Communication with constituents is one of the most decisive factors for legislators when considering an issue. Your e-mail could help alleviate the suffering of countless cancer, AIDS, and multiple sclerosis patients in Maryland. Please take action today and pass this message on to other Maryland residents.
