We just got word that LD 1229, the bill to tax and regulate marijuana, will be up for a vote as early as tomorrow. This bill would allow Mainers to legally purchase and possess marijuana.
It is critical that you call the Maine House and Senate and urge that they support LD 1229's minority report. The minority report would send the question of marijuana taxation and regulation to voters THIS November.
I am confident that if given the opportunity, Mainers would support ending marijuana prohibition.
