After last week's bill introduction and media blitz, the State House has been alive with talk about ending marijuana prohibition. Hundreds of Mainers have already contacted their representatives in support of the bill to regulate marijuana like alcohol.
And the push has only begun.
As I mentioned in an email earlier this week, Mainers are waking up to the fact that marijuana is objectively safer than alcohol. Our representatives in Augusta are coming around too, albeit slightly slower. They need to hear from you, their constituents.
Please, if you haven't done so already, ask your legislators to co-sponsor Rep. Russell's bill to tax and regulate marijuana. It only takes a minute and you can use our pre-written message or personalize it yourself!
