MASON CITY — A public hearing on the pros and cons of medical marijuana is scheduled Wednesday, Sept. 2, in Reunion Hall at The Music Man Square, 308 S. Pennsylvania Ave.
The Iowa Board of Pharmacy is holding the hearing to hear evidence and testimony on the medical use of marijuana from a scientific, medical and legal perspective.
The hearing is from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Medical professionals, as well as the general public, are invited to attend.

The hearing is one of four being held around the state.
