Hoosier marijuana reform hearing on Thursday
Message:
As a result of a resolution passed in the spring, the
Indiana Senate Criminal Law and Sentencing Policy Study Committee will
be examining Hoosier marijuana laws in the interim legislative session this
summer. The committee will be holding a hearing to discuss these laws this
Thursday at the State House.
What: Senate Criminal
Law and Sentencing Policy Study Committee hearing on Indiana’s marijuana laws
When: Thursday, July
28, 1:00 p.m.
Where: Room 431, State
House, 200 W. Washington St., Indianapolis
Please come to the hearing to demonstrate your support for
marijuana policy reform. Remember to dress appropriately – i.e. don’t wear any
clothing with “pot leaf” insignias. If you have important, relevant
testimony that you would like to try to offer at the hearing, please call ReLegalize
Indiana’s Joh Padgett at (317) 560-4420. Joh is coordinating all the testimony
for the day so that the planned speakers we have lined up have adequate time to
make their presentations.

your senator, asking him or her to change Indiana’s marijuana laws.
