Hoosier marijuana reform hearing on Thursday

As a result of a resolution passed in the spring, the Indiana Senate Criminal Law and Sentencing Policy Study Committee will be examining Hoosier marijuana laws in the interim legislative session this summer. The committee will be holding a hearing to discuss these laws this Thursday at the State House.

What: Senate Criminal Law and Sentencing Policy Study Committee hearing on Indiana’s marijuana laws

When: Thursday, July 28, 1:00 p.m.

Where: Room 431, State House, 200 W. Washington St., Indianapolis

Please come to the hearing to demonstrate your support for marijuana policy reform. Remember to dress appropriately – i.e. don’t wear any clothing with “pot leaf” insignias. If you have important, relevant testimony that you would like to try to offer at the hearing, please call ReLegalize Indiana’s Joh Padgett at (317) 560-4420. Joh is coordinating all the testimony for the day so that the planned speakers we have lined up have adequate time to make their presentations.

Please also take action and email your senator, asking him or her to change Indiana’s marijuana laws.
