Medical Marijuana Vote Delayed

It looks like a bill to legalize medicinal cannabis is on hold after state senators asked for several amendments to the bill. It was voted out of the rules committee last week, and was expected to be approved this week.

Aides at chief sponsor Sen. William Haine's office say the bill will be revisited after the Senate's hiatus. Legislators take a break after this week, and return April 21.

The house is considering a similar bill.
