Illinois' veto session starts TOMORROW

Urge your legislators to support SB 1381
You just received an e-mail from us urging
you to contact your legislators about SB 1381. We contemplated sending
it to you Friday, but since many of you might not see your e-mails over
the weekend, we decided to send it out today. In the rush, I forgot to
change the heading from “next week” to “this week.” My mistake.
To
be clear, the first veto session is scheduled for this week – Tuesday,
Nov. 16 through Thursday, Nov. 18. The second veto session is scheduled
for Nov. 29 through Dec. 1. As you can see, we’re down to crunch time,
so the message remains the same. We need you to contact your representatives now and urge them to support the bill.
