Ill.: Session ends in two days -- time to make one last push to advance medical marijuana legislation in the House

With session scheduled to end this Thursday, May 29, HB 5938 is in danger of languishing in the House Rules Committee without further action.

Here are three things you can do today to help ensure HB 5938 gets the attention it deserves:

Please send your representative an e-mail today urging him or her to support HB 5938 and help move it out of the rules committee.

After you have e-mailed your representative, please send Rep. Angelo Saviano (R-River Grove) an e-mail thanking him for sponsoring this compassionate legislation.

We have created a flyer that we encourage you to print out and hang in high-traffic areas where flyers are typically hung, especially in places where legislators are likely to see them (coffee shops, near newspaper stands, etc.).
