Marijuana Policy Project

Why can't police as well as lawmakers recognize that legalizing marijuana is not a big deal nor a huge issue? Many people use it with positive effects both medicinally as well as spiritually.  There is no other substance out there that is so purely positive and full of love.

It hurts to see my fellow Maui County citizens being arrested for processsing and growing this sacred plant.  With crime and murder rates on the rise, why can't the Maui Police Department find stuff better to do than bust people who pay their bills and contribute to the community?

Especially now when our economy is in the downfall, why are we as a county wasting money on low priority issues such as "Green Harvest"? Not only are helicopters constantly flying over homes and private properties at such low altitudes irritating, but it is a violation of our rights.

So please, people of Maui, call the mayor, County Council members, governor, legislators and members of Congress to change these silly laws.
