Message:

Last week, the Hawaii Senate voted 24-1 to approve S.B. 1458, a bill to allow regulated dispensing of medical marijuana! But now the hard part begins … getting the compassionate and sensible bill through the House. S.B. 1458 will receive a hearing before two House committees tomorrow, and it needs your support. Please submit written testimony in support of this bill today!

You can also show your support in person:

What: Hearing on S.B. 1458, dispensary legislation (If you attend, be sure to be polite and dress professionally.)

Where: The House Committee on Health and the House Committee on Public Safety and Military Affairs, House conference room 329 - 415 S. Beretania St. - Honolulu, HI 96813

SB 1458 would create three classes of licenses to allow state-regulated dispensaries and would ensure that medical marijuana patients in Hawaii have safe and reliable access to the medicine that their physicians recommend.
